Payment Methods.

There are several payment options available to purchase wargames figures and products. These are listed below and discussed in detail. If you would like any further clarification please contact us at altany@wargames-figures.com. Please do not send any credit card details to us using e-mail, instead use our on-line ordering service.

Credit Card On-Line using our ordering service.
Post a Cheque or Postal Order from the UK (inc BFPO)
Post a Cheque or International Money Order from outside the UK
Telephone - although this is a limited service

Payment On-Line with a Credit Card.

Our merchant facility with the Bank of Scotland allows us to accept the following credit cards - Visa, Mastercard, Delta Visa, Switch, Solo and JCB cards. Use our on-line facility as normal and go to the checkout.

At the payment screen select the appropriate card type from the "Pay with" option. Fill in your details and press continue, that's all there is to it. Using a credit card is by far the simplest and efficeint way you can order products from us.

Payment with a cheque within the U.K. (& BFPO)

Use our on-line facility as normal and go to the checkout. At the payment screen select Cheque from the "Pay with" option. Select the correct shipping method (British Forces Posted Overseas - use UK options) and press CONTINUE.

The last screen gives you a summary of all the information entered and asks for a cheque number :

For Cheques enter the last 4 digits of the account and the cheque number.
For Postal orders enter the identifying number.

Press CONTINUE and the order is placed...

The order is now on our system and you can follow up with the cheque or postal order. Please make all cheques payable to "The Wargames Figures Company" and send them to the following address :

IMPORTANT NOTE

a) Once you have placed an order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail. On this e-mail there will be an order number. Please write this onto the back of the cheque or IMO so that we can cross reference your on-line order with your cheque.

Cheque or IMO Payment from outside the U.K.

Use our on-line facility as normal and go to the checkout. At the payment screen select Cheque from the "Pay with" option, and the correct shipping method, then press CONTINUE. The last screen gives you a summary of all the information entered and asks for a cheque number :

For International Money Orders enter the identifying number.

To convert your shopping cart total from £ sterling into your own currency use the following Currency Converter (Once converted click BACK on your browser until you return here). IMPORTANT NOTES

a) Once you have placed an order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail. On this e-mail there will be an order number. Please write this onto the back of the cheque or IMO so that we can cross reference your on-line order with your cheque. Could you please also include the exchange rate used.

b) In some countries obtaining an International Money Order (IMO) can be a lengthy and costly process. If you wish, you can send us a cheque in your own currency by adding £5.00 to cover the banks processing fee.

Placing Order over the Phone with a Credit Card.

Although as safe as mail order, we understand that some people are still unsure ordering over the internet. If you would like to place an order over the phone please e-mail us with your telephone number and the best times to phone (include timezones) and we will contact you.

Unfortunately at this time it is not possible to have a manned 24hr telephonist and we feel there would be too many misunderstandings made using an answerphone. If this changes we will keep you informed.
